Your initial determination request will be set to a WAITING status if you apply a password to an assessment. Your password would prevent Coastline from viewing the MDS. Assessment passwords are unnecessary in the secure environment of SAMS, and will slow down the clinical review of your consumer.
The Notification is a scanned document that is visible in the consumer’s File Attachment section. Navigate to the consumer’s File Attachment tab. Identify the desired attachment on the list of File Attachments. [Right-click] on this document to display the sub-menu. Select [View Attachment], not “open”.
